15 September 2024

Great news from our team! Rhys Kissell has been named a finalist in the Association of Old Crows (AOC) Australia Essay Competition, with 2024's essays written under the theme of "Exploring the Future of Warfare".
Rhys's essay, titled "On the Russo-Ukrainian Electromagnetic Struggle for Superiority: Lessons for Australia," delves into crucial aspects of electronic warfare. His work examines how Australia can learn from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, particularly in achieving electromagnetic superiority.
The essay challenges conventional thinking about electronic warfare systems, suggesting a shift from pursuing perfection to embracing "good enough" solutions. Rhys also advocates for adapting the tactics of adversaries, and exploring how Russian disorganisation tactics can be used to attack command-and-control structures with Australia's electronic warfare capabilities.
This recognition highlights Rhys's expertise and our team's commitment to advancing electronic warfare strategies. The competition winner will be announced at the Awards Gala on September 19, 2024, in Canberra.
