Dual-Use Technology

LYREBIRD is available in two configurations - LYREBIRD, and LYREBIRD-C. These products are largely the same hardware, with the primary difference being which operating system is loaded onto the device.

LYREBIRD comes loaded with PlatypOS, which offers a variety of advanced electromagnetic functionality and advanced machine-learning features that together provide a comprehensive, semi-autonomous electromagnetic "Swiss Army knife" to each individual warfighter in combat operations.

LYREBIRD-C comes loaded with PugglOS, a device with features focused on what police, civilian security professional and emergency services personnel. It shares many features with PlatypOS, but has certain military-only functionalities removed. It exists to address the problem faced by civilian security professionals, particularly in emergency management scenarios, where they lack countermeasures for illegal drone activity, as well as a solution for situational awareness of these threats. The rapid proliferation of private drone ownership, particularly in an era of rising civil unrest and climate change, is a growing problem.
